In the year 1906, Friedrich Allgeier, letterer, founded the company in Nußbach in the Black Forest in Germany. In 1927, the company moved to Triberg, where its head office is located still today.

Today, Allgeier is one of the leading manufacturers of enamel signs in Europe.

The new furnace is electrically heated in an environment-friendly manner.
